Rebuild Florida Hurricane Ian Housing Repair and Replacement Program
The Rebuild Florida Hurricane Ian Housing Repair and Replacement Program (HRRP) is designed to provide funding to the most vulnerable homeowners and property owners impacted by Hurricane Ian through the repair, replacement or reconstruction, of their Ian-damaged homes, including mobile homes. The funding is awarded by FloridaCommerce through the Rebuild Florida program. FloridaCommerce invites all eligible Floridians to complete the Rebuild Florida Hurricane Ian Housing Repair and Replacement Program Assessment. Completing this brief assessment is the first step in applying for program assistance when the program formally launches in 2024. Responses will help FloridaCommerce evaluate eligibility for federal grant funding through the program.

HUD identified four Florida counties (Lee, Orange, Sarasota and Volusia) who will receive direct funding allocations separate from the amount allocated to the state of Florida. These four counties will be responsible for designing their own programs to address their communities' unmet needs, as well as administering any funds to run those programs. FloridaCommerce is committed to working with all counties to swiftly administer long-term disaster recovery funds. For Floridians in direct-allocation counties who are interested in Hurricane Ian assistance, please contact your county directly; their websites are below:
