Healthcare Equity Solutions'

Internship

In 2023, we launched our inaugural internship program. During the eight week program, one Public Health Intern and one Research Assistant will gain practical learning experience by working alongside professionals in the field and apply what was learned in the classroom to real world, current public health issues. They may be required to attend lectures, leadership training, and other professional development seminars during their learning experience. They may also carry out individual work with mentors and supervisors with various responsibilities such as analyzing health statistics, promoting health programs, and writing grants. Additionally, our Public Health Intern will be assisting with community engagement and event coordination for our partnership with Friends of FAM, Inc. to implement our efforts with the 2023 Be Out Day Atlanta. Continue reading to learn more about the future leaders in public health who will be working with us this summer!

Future opportunities will be announced via social media, so be sure to follow our Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn pages to stay abreast of the internship program's evolution and for your chance to apply.
