We were fortunate to emphasize equity amidst a growing professional staffing need for school-based nurses in Florida. Since April 2023, we have placed over 30 LPNs and RNs in elementary, middle, and high schools in 15 Florida counties - many of which predominately serve minority students. These contract roles have provided opportunities for both new and seasoned nursing professionals looking to use their skills in school-based settings.

Hear from Our Nurses

I really enjoyed my time at the [school name redacted]. The office staff and teaching staff are all hoping I will return. In the short month I was at the school, I feel I made some great improvements to the school clinic. I have been serving children in this county for the last 14 years and would love to go back as a nurse with HCES to continue to serve these kids that I love so much. Thank you for this opportunity.
