Mereya Quintana,

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Mereya Quintana is a highly valued team member of Healthcare Equity Solutions (HCES) as the Contracts and Compliance Analyst. In this role, Mereya manages the administrative components of a variety of efforts, especially grants management, organization credentialing, identifying funding and contract procurement opportunities, reviewing financial statements, and performing outreach duties. Additionally, Mereya is the creator and manager of our Internship/Practicum Program.

 

Mereya has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Florida A&M University. She is a current Doctor of Health Administration scholar (Class of 2026) at Morehouse School of Medicine. She is also certified by the Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. for infection prevention and control (CIC) and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Her passions and research interests include mental health reform, infectious disease, women's reproductive rights, sexual health, correctional health, and health equity. Mereya is dedicated to bridging the gap between public health and community-based care, the mental health stigma and patient centered care.
